Peter Hong
HEAD COACH
Peter Hong, a dedicated full-time student and manager for the University of Pennsylvania's Men's Basketball team, pursues studies at the Wharton School of Business with a focus on either Finance or Management. Balancing academic and managerial roles, he runs his own training business, p.elite.training, fostering both on-court skills and "elite" mindsets for athletes. Graduating as valedictorian from Stratford High School, Peter's journey in basketball coaching began during his junior year, contributing as a student assistant coach for both Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. His impact extended to the following season, where, as a senior, he played a significant role in skill development, strategic planning, and fostering a winning culture for the team, achieving historic milestones. Now joining FAM for the first time, Peter brings youthful energy and a wealth of knowledge to nurture young athletes. With aspirations of success in business and dreams of coaching in the NBA, he looks forward to making a positive impact on the program and building new connections. Peter's guiding motto, "Process>Product," reflects his belief in cherishing the journey and personal growth rather than solely focusing on outcomes. Notable players Peter has worked with include Everett Bates (UT-Dallas), Keshaun Bell (Nebraska-Wesleyan), Keanu Dawes (Rice), Luke Hatcher (Southwestern)
